星网 / Project N provides VPS / host instances with dedicated residential egress IPs — a network and data infrastructure service. This policy defines permitted and prohibited use. By using the service you agree to it; violations may result in suspension or termination without refund.
1. Your responsibility
- You are fully responsible for all traffic, content, and conduct originating from your instance.
- You must comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction, the operator’s jurisdiction, and the destinations of your traffic.
- Honor the one-customer-one-instance-one-IP model. Do not resell, sublet, or share your instance or subscription credentials with multiple people (paid or not). To detect this we look at connection-level metadata (e.g. the number and distribution of concurrent source addresses, subscription fetch origins);we do not inspect the contents of your traffic. Confirmed resale results in termination without refund.
- Higher tiers / large orders may require KYC / entity verification before activation.
2. Expressly prohibited
- Any unlawful activity, including circumventing others’ systems or terms to do something illegal.
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — zero tolerance; immediate termination and reporting to authorities as required by law.
- Network attacks: DoS/DDoS, unauthorized scanning/intrusion, malware/ransomware distribution, botnets or C2.
- Fraud: phishing, credential theft, carding, identity theft, financial scams.
- Spam / abuse: unsolicited bulk email/messaging, mailbombing, marketing that violates anti-spam law.
- Infringement: copyright/trademark/IP violations, piracy distribution.
- Harassment & harm: doxxing, threats, stalking, incitement to violence.
- Large-scale scraping / high fan-out automation: crawling or bulk scraping in violation of a target site's terms, or high-concurrency / high-fan-out requests to many destinations in a short time. This harms IP reputation and other customers, and is suspended on detection.
- Other severe abuse of shared resources or the network (e.g., unauthorized large-scale mining).
3. Network & resources
Do not harm network integrity or others’ use — no source spoofing, no exceeding your plan’s bandwidth/connection limits, no interfering with other customers’ instances. The operator may apply technical limits (rate, connections, quota) to protect service quality.
Limits applied by default (enforced on the network outside your instance; you cannot remove them from inside):
- Outbound port 25 is blocked — standard anti-spam practice. Use a third-party mail service on submission ports (587/465).
- Bandwidth rate limit per plan, plus a traffic quota; exceeding the period quota automatically suspends the instance until you top up or a new billing period begins.
How we monitor for abuse: we look only at connection-level metadata — destination fan-out, connection counts and rates, upload/download ratio, port distribution, and IP reputation from public intelligence sources. We do not decrypt or inspect the contents of your traffic. This is both the privacy-correct approach and sufficient to identify the behaviour we actually care about (resale, scanning, spam, attacks).
4. Enforcement
- We may suspend or terminate instances immediately, without prior notice where reasonable, upon a good-faith belief of violation or risk.
- We cooperate with law enforcement to the extent lawfully required, while respecting users’ lawful rights and making no promises beyond legal obligations.
- Severe violations (especially involving minors, terrorism, or major attacks) result in immediate termination and lawful handling.
5. Reporting abuse
Report abuse to abuse@example.com (address updated at launch) with time, IP, and evidence. We will act promptly.
6. Changes
This policy may be updated for legal or operational reasons; updates are posted here and effective immediately.
